ABOUT US

Yayasan Sinergi Akuakultur Indonesia (YSAI) is an organization dedicated to facilitating advanced shrimp management practices aimed to help establishing an efficient, profitable, and sustainable shrimp aquaculture industry. Our mission is to improve the livelihoods of shrimp farmers and promote environmental conservation, including efforts to minimize climate change impact, through practices such as carbon footprint reduction in aquaculture.

YSAI is implementing the Aquaculture Improvement Project (AIP) with the goal of helping aquaculture farms improve their operations by adopting better management practices and meeting certification requirements. 

We work collaboratively with government and non-government entities, supply chain participants, and aquaculture industry associations to facilitate the adoption and implementation of exemplary sustainable practices in aquaculture by integrating climate-resilient strategies and adoption of climate-smart technology, we aim to ensure aquaculture industry sustainability and adaptation to climate change challenges.
